...You are light-tasting. Fine, with a scent of lime...

Matt: "We're late because on the way here I had to stop at Wendy's to go diarrhea and I didn't even buy anything! And that's the PG... no G version."

Matt's probably the funniest boy I know. He actually enjoyed Down With Love and can also do a mean hardcore dance. And was afraid to get SARS from me.

Speaking of SARS, the Weakerthans et etc. show is a no go because my mom's afraid I'll get it. So we get to drive to Guelph and Mississauga in one day, look at U of T (without getting out of the car) and not go see The Weakerthans. I'm thinking of boycotting the whole trip because if I can't go see them I don't want to go at all.

Update on acceptances: Queen's is a yes.

I applied just to see if I would get in. So it's still between McGill and Guelph with heavy leanings to McGill. Because really, Montreal vs. Guelph, it's kinda obvious who would win that one.

Carl left for Winnipeg today which makes me really sad. Hopefully he'll see The Weakerthans many times and make up for my not seeing them in Toronto. He's such a nice boy. He spent his last night at home with me and Kris. At a tavern seeing French garage (most likely gay) rock bands. I think his beer with the Parliament Building on it made him a little tipsy. He started blowing into it and got giggly and Kris rolled her eyes alot.

Note to self: pina colada milkshake + hot tavern + scary old punk (real punk) men + pink flip flops = not good.

On top of all that fun Kris and I saw Nada Surf and Sondre Lerche and The Long Winters at Babylon. It was a really good show. The Long Winters is my new favourite band. Except not. But almost. They were really good. And they let us buy a button and a pin for $1. But mostly because Kris just paid for a button and took a sticker and to be fair I got one too.

And that's enough of my stringing together of non-relating topics.
