...Got more faults than the state of California...

Last weekend our neighbour boy Cameron, who is four, came over to play and do yard work and sit in the shade while Kris and I suntanned. We lost him three times and he almost slid underneath the porch railing and onto the ground when he slipped on my Banana Boat suntanning oil mixed with Kris's hose mist. Yeah, I can tell I'll make a good mother someday. He also tried to hit a bird with the foam bat Karen gave to us a really long time ago.
On Saturday I saw The Matrix. With Carl. Hehehe. Ok. so maybe I like him a little. Main reason being that he likes The Weakerthans an equal amount or possibly more than I do. He owns both albums on cd and vinyl. I only have Left and Leaving on vinyl. He gets points for that one. Let's evaluate the list:
- nice (check)
- plays guitar (check)
Ok, that's all. I need to work on my list. He asked me to go see him play all Weakerthans songs at a church next week. Heheeh. This makes me happy.
I was person of the week at (let's see if I can remember how to link) dork-boy.dland.com. This also makes me happy. Except for the fact that he's only trying to get me to buy him a Onelinedrawing shirt. Note: probably not going see The Weakerthans/Dashboard/Onelinedrawing anymore. But it was still nice. Also, who is Ben Seaver because I just don't know.
So this week is Lobster weekend which means that not only will I have to give up my bed, the house will be filled with many many relatives who get drunk all the time. Case in point: surprise birthday party. Yeah. And that's all I have to say about that.
I can't get enough of The Recluse by Cursive. So good. Especially the "I've come to wrap you up tight till it's time to bite down" part.
