Kris is dumb.

"Kim...how do you change it to the turny smaller thing?"

As in a record. And she did not realize that when you want to change the song on a record player you actually have to physically move the arm.

Kris had just found a box in the closet with all our mom's old records and old pictures. We found:

- a tape recorder a la William Miller in Almost Famous
- Led Zeppelin albums
- pictures from California when my mom stayed in the Hyatt Hotel
- 8-tracks of Bob Seger, Pink Floyd, Cheap Trick, and the Beach Boys
- 45s of Soft Cell, Duran Duran, The Go-Go's, Air Supply, Culture Club, and The Beatles.

Ohhh, it was great.
