...I gave you all that I had to give, but I could never reach you...

Let me just talk about the bass player from The Calling for one moment. This is him here:

I now love this boy. For anyone who has satellite (and gets all the channels, *cough*, I'm not going to go any further into that subject) I just watched Music in High Places with The Calling and I now have a very strong urge to purchase their cd (bad). Sorry I'm getting sidetracked. Why I love this boy. He has a lisp and is really cute. It's not just a normal lisp. It's a nasal-y congested sounding lisp. The greatist thing in the world. (Has anyone noticed I recently remembered how to use italics?)
"When you're in songland it doesn't matter what key you're in. Heehee."
That was him while playing his acoustic bass.
Speaking of things acoustic, on Thursday Graham forced all of us Salvation Army shoppers (me, Kris, Karen, Charlotte, and Courtney) to go into Long & McQuade (spelling? correct word even?) and test out the acoustic guitars. I like guitars. I just wish I could play them. He almost had Kris playing a nice one until a hot boy walked in and intimidated her. Side note: I took 3 copies of their magazine with Matt Good on the cover. I was very excited.
We did alot of shopping on Thursday. The majority of us ended up buying dresses. I don't know if that's a good thing. I bought a medieval-wedding-dress-looking thing. It really didn't fit me but it only cost $2.50. Ohhhhhh!!!! I also bought these amazing old school roller skates for $2.00. They are so cool. Charlotte, Kris and I are all going to go roller skating together one day.
Have I ever mentioned how me, Kris, and Sam are all going to dress up as Dave Matthews' back-up singers? Well we are. We have the head scarves and everything. Sam is Brenda (becasue she has the low voice), I'm China, and Kris is Tawatha. I don't know why Kris gets to be the cool one. She just does. Is she obsessed? I think so. Aside: she wants to buy a more than life size poster of Dave Matthews and hang it above her bed.
Today, poor Becky got bit on her hair part by a bug. I think she made herself feel better by playing many many games of MASH on the computer. I think we spent more than half the day in the computer lab playing MASH. Sad sad.
